Ever since I was little, I've always loved animals. I started walking dogs at age twelve for the Berkeley Humane Society, and did additional volunteering in the cat rooms. All through middle school I spent all of my free time volunteering at the Milo Foundation. In addition to spending all of my free time at the shelter, I also starting fostering dogs and cats that needed extra love and attention so that I could help them thrive.
In 2016, I graduated from Chico State with a Bachelors in Animal Science. At Chico state I had internships at the University's dairy, as well as their sheep and goat unit. I also interned at the Kirshner Wildlife Reserve working with wildlife and exotic animals. After graduation I went to South Africa, where I volunteered at a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. (Moholoholo). Upon my return, I became an adoption counselor at the Peninsula SPCA where I spent a year helping dogs, cats, reptiles and small animals find their forever homes. The last 1.5 years I have worked at Coastal Holistic in Pacifica.
The weekend of April 12,2019 I took the DogBiz dog walking academy. I am a dog walking academy graduate, I am also DogTec certified in canine first aid/CPR. I follow the Dogbiz business code of ethics and use positive reinforcement techniques. I established my business Pawsitilvey Paws on April 22,2019. I have amazing clientele all around the Peninsula as well as in San Francisco. I currently set up bookings in advance for overnight stays. I also offer group walks, private walks and drop in pet services.
